Helen Hendricks returns to the air at SBS6. Following the success of De Oranjezomer, the presenter will also present De Oranjewinter at the turn of the year. This show will appear on the TV channel in the Today Inside time slot for two weeks.
Hendricks made the announcement Friday evening on Today Inside. Oranjewinter is an alternative to Today Inside, where René van der Gijp, Johan Derksen and Wilfred Genee enjoy a well-deserved break. “Actually, I’ll replace you for two weeks. That’s it“, Hendricks didn’t want to make the comeback of her hit show too big.

“Orange Summer” was a huge hit earlier this year, and not just because of its high viewing numbers. The talk show was nominated for a Gouden Televizier Award, but that award ultimately went to the Oogappels series. Hendricks won presenter of the year, while Noah Vale – who regularly appeared on the show – also won talent of the year.
It was previously known that Hendriks’ De Oranjezomer would have a sequel, but this time a specific date has been attached to it. Next summer, Hendricks will also likely play a role on her talk show about all the major sporting events planned.
