Half Dutch clothing brand wants to go to Asia and America


A few years ago, rusty stitches were some of the most affordable leather motorcycle jackets sold only in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. It now supplies to 15 European countries and is considering switching to Asia and the United States.

The idea for Rusty sewing was conceived by the Scottish player Joshua Knopp. In Joba, traditionally Dutch, he found a partner with an understanding of distribution and design. At least half of the brand’s success is reflected in Twente. Rusty Tailors, meanwhile, has expanded its range with textile jackets, gloves, casual wear and a wide variety of accessories, backpacks and helmets.

Rusty stitching mainly targets the hip urban rider. According to the manufacturer, they are slightly different from the others, and it fits seamlessly with the philosophy of rusty stitches.
