GoPro releases Hero 10 Black with GP2 processor and 4K120 recordings – picture and sound – news

GoPro announced the Hero 10 Black. With GP2, Action Cam has a more powerful processor than its predecessor, so many functions can be used faster. The maximum frame rate for recordings has also been doubled.

With GP2, the Hero Series has a new community for the first time since 2017, with the arrival of the Hero 6 Black. According to GoPro, the new processor is twice as powerful, and among other things, the interface will be more responsive, while file transfer should also work more smoothly.

The Hero 10 Black’s camera can shoot photos in 5.3K60, 4K120, and 2.7K240, with maximum frame rates being twice as high as on the Hero 9. The Hero 10 sensor is a 23MP model, compared to 20MP for the predecessor. With the new Action Cam, users can create 15.8MP frame shots from 5.3K video.

GoPro’s HyperSmooth image stabilization technology has been upgraded to version 4.0. Tilt limit for horizon leveling increased from 27 to 45 degrees. Moreover, the weight has been reduced compared to the Hero 9 with the Hero 10 from 158 grams to 153 grams. Many other specifications remain the same, such as the size of the LCD and battery capacity.
