The opposition is considering a vote of no confidence

Parliament can only block legislation by overthrowing the government with a vote of no confidence. French politicians have until Friday 3:20 p.m. to do so.

An absolute majority in parliament is required for such a proposal. It doesn’t seem to exist at the moment. It is assumed that several opposition parties will present their own proposal. It is unclear who will support which movement.
