He then called it a “bolt out of the blue,” but said he’s still in talks with Talpa about his future at Radio 538, where he says his heart was. “When I started radio 22 years ago, 538 was my first big love and today I can vouch that old love never rusts. From the end of August I’m going home again and this time with a great afternoon show. I can’t wait,” he says now. Dane can be heard on Radio 538 for the first time since 2000 and has performed on several shows there.
