From the 2024/2025 season, European football will be shown on a single TV channel for the first time. Ziggo Sport has acquired exclusive media rights for the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. Last week it was already announced that Talpa (Europa League) and RTL (UEFA Champions League) had lost.

The contract between Ziggo Sport and UEFA is valid for three seasons: from mid-2024 to mid-2027. This brings Europe’s most important club competitions under one roof for the first time. All matches and highlights can be watched exclusively on Ziggo Sport. The amount paid by Ziggo Sport for the rights was not disclosed.
Ziggo Sport will develop programming further in the coming months. All football matches of the participating Dutch clubs can be streamed free to everyone in the Netherlands via the Ziggo GO app. Ziggo customers can also watch top matches on Channel 14.

Ziggo Sport wants to project itself as the most diverse sports channel in the Netherlands, with football from La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, FA Cup, Champions League, UEFA Nations League and World Cup. and qualifying football for the European Championship. Ziggo Sport also offers tennis, golf and Formula 1 summaries.
