Launched last month during the South By Southwest Film Festival, the Human Artistry campaign highlights issues surrounding generative AI. Now the campaign has announced that there is another group of European and international organizations supporting the initiative.

The campaign comes on the heels of the recent surge in creative or generative AI technologies. According to promoters, as these technologies become more sophisticated, questions arise about the licensing of data mining, the copyright status of generative AI works, and how transparent people and companies are when using these technologies.

Organizations representing music creators and/or music copyright holders have been added to support the campaign in Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom.

In addition, there is support from global organizations such as the International Forum of Independent Music Publishers, the International Federation of Music Publishers and the Global Independent Network, as well as the European independent label organization IMPALA and organizations representing photographers, voice actors, writers, journalists, literary agents and book publishers.
