Major agenda items

The leaders of the EU and LAC (Latin America and the Caribbean) will meet on December 2, 2021 (via video conference).

Charles Michael, President of the Council of Europe, will chair the meeting. Chairman Michael and Ursula van der Leyen, President of the European Commission Represents the European Union. Further Joseph Borel, High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, attended the meeting.

Latin America and the Caribbean In 2021, LAC countries will be represented by the heads of regional and sub-regional organizations.
