Embiid helps the Sixers win their eighth straight game

Thanks in part to a strong performance by basketball player Joel Embiid, the Philadelphia 76ers continue to win the NBA. The team recorded its eighth straight win against the Indiana Pacers, 141-121. Embiid scored 31 points and is now the first Sixers player to score at least 30 points in nine consecutive games. Therese Maxi also added 31 points. Aaron Nesmith led the Pacers with 25 points.

The Sacramento Kings basketball players are also doing well. The Kings won 132-118 to record their eleventh win in thirteen games. Domantas Sabonis was instrumental in the Kings victory with 30 points, 10 assists and 9 rebounds. Terrence Davis added 21 points. Kyle Kuzma led the Wizards with 33 points.

The Utah Jazz defeated the Boston Celtics. With a block at the buzzer, Walker Kessler blocked Grant Williams from scoring for the Celtics. The Jazz won 118-117. Lauri Markkkinen led the Jazz with 28 points and 10 rebounds. Because of the defeat of the Miami Heat against the Chicago Bulls (113-99), the Celtics are sure to participate in the playoffs despite the defeat.
