Deathloop is postponed to September 14 – Gaming – News

Bethesda Arkane Lyon studio decided to postpone its Deathloop for a second time. The release date is now set for September 14th. According to the team, additional time is needed to improve the quality and fulfill the ambitions.

The studio also cites maintaining the health and safety of its employees as a reason for the delay. This may have something to do with things like working from home, as a result of the Corona epidemic. Arkane Lyon mentions the new release date On Twitter.

Deathloop was announced at E3 in June 2019 as a temporary exclusive for PlayStation 5 and PC. The game was supposed to be released at the end of 2020, but that has already been postponed to the second quarter of 2021. Then the release date was set on May 5But this did not materialize.

The game is a fps game set in a surreal setting. The Deathloop takes place on the fictional island of Blackreef and players must escape a time loop like Colt’s character by taking out targets.

Deathloop was designed by Arkane Lyon, the well-known studio of Dishonored. The studio is part of Bethesda, acquired by Microsoft. Arkane Lyon is now the Xbox studio, but Microsoft previously indicated that existing exclusive deals will be kept.

The Deathloop is only supposed to be available on PlayStation 5 and not on other consoles for a certain period, say for a year. There will be a PC version when the PS5 release comes out.
