The Dutch can now also use the ChatGPT chatbot via an app on their iPhone. Developer OpenAI has made the app available for installation here through the Apple App Store.
ChatGPT was made available in the US about two weeks ago. About forty more countries followed. These were, for example, Great Britain, France, Germany, Japan and South Korea, but countries such as Mauritius, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Albania also preceded the Netherlands. Now a hundred more countries have joined, including the Netherlands.
ChatGPT uses artificial intelligence (AI) to write voice scripts that make sense. In a short time, the system caused a sensation by creating scripts that would be difficult to distinguish from human work. This made the service popular but also controversial. OpenAI developer was founded in 2015 by a few big names from the tech world, including Tesla CEO and Twitter owner Elon Musk and Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn. Microsoft poured billions into the project.
OpenAI is still working on a version for Android devices.
