Police told the AFP news agency that “teams are currently examining the body.” It was found in a national park in West Wyoming, looking for Gabriel Petito.
The FBI, which was involved in the search, announced at a news conference that it was mostly the body of a missing woman. “While this is not 100 percent certain, similarities have been found,” a spokesman said. “A forensic investigation is ongoing.”
The significant missing person case is gaining more attention in the United States. Gabriel, also known as KP, toured the United States with his partner Brian in July.
On September 1, Brian returned to the laundry (23) – without his partner coffee. His family later complained to police that he was missing. Laundry’s relatives announced this weekend that they had not seen him since last Tuesday. He also seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth.
‘Many missing persons case’
In a statement this weekend, police said they were “frustrated” by the turn of events. This annoyance seems to have mainly arisen because Laundry’s family just recently wanted to contact the police.
“We are not currently investigating a crime, but in the case of several missing persons,” police said.
Gabriel Petito’s friends gathered at the laundry house this weekend to ask, “Where’s the coffee?” His family has been told by a lawyer that they do not believe Brian Laundry was actually missing. “He’s hidden.”
The United States is now in the case of the missing, reporter Michael Voss told RTL Boulevard this weekend:
“Coffee fanatic. Friendly zombie aficionado. Devoted pop culture practitioner. Evil travel advocate. Typical organizer.”
