Apple is holding its March 8 event, presumably for the new iPhone SE and iPad Air – tablets and phones – news

I see some confusion in the comments regarding Macs. Here’s what the latest rumors tell us:

Mac mini
The M2 Mac Mini is expected to be announced on March 8th. This may be redesigned with a plexiglass cover, magnetic power cable, 4 USB-C ports, 2 USB-A ports, Ethernet and HDMI.

MacBook Pro
A MacBook Pro 13″ (low-end model) is also expected to be announced. It will be positioned below the new 14″ and 16″ models from last year. This 13″ MBP will build on the 2020 design but then with an M2 chip, i.e. the Touch Bar But without a notch and a 120 Hz screen.

MacBook Air
I see a lot of people eagerly waiting for this lazy rumored to have a completely new design. However, all rumors point to a launch from mid-2022 to the end of 2022. That means it’s likely either WWDC or only in the fall. In any case, there are no indications that he will be shown at this event.

iMac
The 27-inch iMac, currently equipped with an Intel chip, is also expected to be redesigned and ported to Apple Silicon. Just like the MacBook Air, don’t expect this device to arrive at WWDC as soon as possible.

Mac Pro
The Mac Pro will be the last to make the transition (because of the complexity and power expected from such a device). Same with iMac and MacBook Air. It will arrive, but not expected on March 8th.
