Another June update: Samsung Galaxy A52s

The next Samsung phone in the Galaxy A series that will receive the June update is the Galaxy A52s. It is the only A52 model that is still updated monthly.

Samsung is rolling out the June update this month intermittently. Sometimes several devices are updated simultaneously in one day – sometimes just one device. The latter was the case yesterday, with the update for the Galaxy A52s.

The A528BXXS8GXEA firmware version arrives as a roughly 317MB download and basically does one thing: install the June patch. This consists of 37 Android optimizations, and 22 improvements to Samsung’s One UI. The bootloader leak of the A52s’ Qualcomm processor is being fixed, and the case and connector are being fixed, among other things.

The Galaxy A52s will likely be the only variant of the A52 to receive a new security update this month. In April, Samsung announced that it would only update the 4G and 5G models of the A52 without s on a quarterly basis. Both devices received a new patch in May, so they may not receive a new update until August.

You can download the June update now at Unbranded Galaxy A52s in Netherlands, Belgium, etc described Vodafone devices. If you don’t want to wait for your phone to find the update automatically, you can also use Settings -> Software Update -> Download and Install Work on your own.
