Animation Festival comes to Knokke-Heist for the 60th time

Under the headline #sportersbelevenmeer, Knokke-Heist launched the “Everyone is a Champion” theme this year. The participating cartoonists accepted the challenge of developing the most sporting publication. The exhibition features caricatures of 19 famous Belgian cartoonists. Among them are famous names but also many young talents. New in this release is that the Animation Festival highlights a well-known cartoonist. This year, this featured cartoon guest is none other than Lectrr. You will discover his wonderful world in his Lectrrland piece.

Despite these developments, many fixed values ​​remain in the festival. This is how, as usual, the work of the nominees and winners of my animation competitions gets done golden hat On Click on the Belgium Cardboard A seat at the festival. The Animation Festival runs from Saturday 3 July to Sunday 29 August, each time from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Cultuurcentrum Scharpoord. Entry is free, but reservations are required via www.cartoonfestival.be
