Almost 123 million coronavirus cases worldwide

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) More than 122.8 million cases of Covid-19 virus have now been recorded worldwide. This is evident from current data collected by Johns Hopkins CSSE on Sunday.

Today, the number of Americans carrying the Corona virus is close to 29.8 million, with 541,914 deaths.

Brazil now has nearly 12 million infections. In India this is 11.6 million.

In Western Europe, the UK has the largest number of infections, with just over 4.3 million. France follows with nearly 4.3 cases of corona. Italy has more than 3.3 million cases and Spain more than 3.2 million. Germany has now crossed the 2.6 million mark.

In the Netherlands, the number of official infections is now 1,211,447 compared to 1,196,045 on Friday morning, and in Belgium, at 827,941 compared to 822,801.

In China, where the outbreak began in late 2019, 101,518 cases of corona have been recorded so far. That was 101,481 on Friday.

According to Johns Hopkins data, 2.70 million people around the world have now died from the virus. About 69.5 million people have recovered.
