ADO Den Hawk goalkeeper Maaike van der Kling embarks on an adventure in America – Hawkland football

Maaike van Klink, 21, of Voorschoten (photo) has been playing at the highest level of American college football since August 2022. He also exchanged ADO Den Hawk women for FIU panthers in Miami, Florida.

Before ADO came to the women of Den Hawk, Maaike van der Klink was active in Voorschoten’97. For the past five years she has played for the ADO Den Hawk girls. ,, I look back with pleasure on choosing ADO. Recently I have been actively looking for an American opportunity. I was in serious contact with various universities. FIU gave me the best opportunity. I hold it with both hands.

He will be on the bar as a goalkeeper for the next two years on the Florida International University College team. FIU women’s football team plays Division I college football. He will combine his football career with a master’s degree in global affairs. This is in line with his recent bachelor’s degree in international politics from Leiden University.
