Aaron Judge does it again: First batter of the new season hits King Yankees | other sports

The New York Yankees quarterback, who last year broke the 61-year-old club record with 62, hits right away in his first at-bat in the opening game against the San Francisco Giants tonight.

Where Judge kept many of his fans in suspense for a few games late last season before tying and later breaking Roger Maris’ legendary record, MLB Opening Day hit the mark today. In his first at bat, he slammed the ball against a wall at Yankee Stadium, to the crowd’s delight.

In the new season of Major League Baseball, during which the public will have to get used to a number of new rules, all 30 clubs will come into force today.

The Yankees have had an excellent start to the new season. After his solo home run, Judge singled out another run in the seventh inning. With that, he put the final score in New York up 5-0.
