A former Qatari minister faces imprisonment and a multi-billion fine for money laundering outside

Former Qatari Finance Minister Ali Sharif Al-Emadi was sentenced to twenty years in prison. According to the judge, he is guilty of, among other things, money laundering, abuse of power and bribery. The former minister also faces a fine of 15.4 billion euros.
