Traffic problems in Switzerland due to floods

Due to damage caused by severe weather conditions (floods/mudslides), many roads and tunnels in Switzerland are closed.
A13 near Mesocco
Since Sunday 23 June Via San Bernardino (Switzerland). A13 Chor – Bellinzona Close to Mesocco in both directions. The mudslide swept away part of the highway.
On Friday 5 July, one lane on the A13 motorway is likely to be open again in both directions. Swiss sister organisation TCS anticipates these repair works. Additional delays on the A2 Lucerne-Chiasso near the St. Gotthard Tunnel.

- Via A12 Bern – Montreux via Great St Bernard Tunnel
- Via Austria A13 Innsbruck-Bolzano via the Brenner Pass

- Via France Lyon-Grenoble Frejus Tunnel

A9, Furka- and Simplontunnel
also A9 Martigny – Brig Closed in both directions between Sion and Sierre due to flooding. Traffic is being diverted there. Furthermore, Valais is also Opens- in Simplon Tunnel Closed due to flooding. Duration of closures unknown.
