The cannabis farm was hidden in a warehouse in an industrial area in the village of Cabanillas del Campo, located in central Spain. During the raid, in addition to several farms in different rooms, the Civil Guard also discovered a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor, where the suspects kept enough food and hygiene products to spend several months without going out. There was also a room where harvested cannabis plants were dried upside down.
During the operation, officers found more than 9,000 cannabis plants and materials worth €36,000. This is one of the largest cannabis farms dismantled in Guadalajara in recent years.
the suspects
The Civil Guard has opened proceedings against three Chinese men aged between 40 and 57 on charges of crimes against public health, electricity fraud and membership in a criminal organisation. The Civil Guard says it cannot rule out further arrests.
