There is a good chance that Monster’s Health & Fit gym will be able to move into the former Blokker building at Herenstraat 7, because the municipality of Westland has lifted the blockade.

This is clear from the municipal council’s answers to questions from four factions of the municipal council. GBW, VVD, CDA and Westland Verstandig all showed their lack of understanding of the municipality’s refusal to issue the permit.

Gym owner Peter De Clare is happy with the prospect. His company is now located in the former ABN Amro bank building at Herenstraat 4, diagonally across from the former Blokker branch. Time is running out for him, because he has to hand over the key on December 31 this year, because apartments are being built on that site.

Although the municipality has dropped its objection in principle, the permit has not yet been completed. De Kleer has a positive feeling about this and has had good discussions with the building owner.
