Halloween celebration and “Trick-or-treat tour” in Vlierden

Halloween is celebrated mainly in Ireland, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada, but it is also becoming increasingly popular in our country. For example, on Saturday 29 October there will be a Halloween “trick-or-treat tour” in Vlierden where children dress up and roam the streets.

The festivities begin at 6:00 pm with entertainment at the booth on the corner of Schooteindseweg and Pastoriestraat. This is also the starting and ending point for the tour. Between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., participants can pick up a map of the trail.

To participate, you can register until October 22 by sending an email stating your name and the number of children and adults you are participating in the Trick-or-Treat Tour. The organization has a nice surprise for the best dressed. The most original or beautifully decorated home down the road has a chance to win a dinner voucher.

For the trip, the organization is still looking for people who can help, among other things, with setting up and disassembling, taking care of the music, playing ghosts, and there is a need for a photographer who can take beautiful pictures during the Halloween celebration.
