Actor and comedian Rimko Fridag plays Willy Wonka in the musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory† Theater Alliance announced this today.

Friday is most famous to the general public as one of the Three Flying Panthers. Since the group split in 2008, the comedian has appeared in numerous plays, films, and TV series. On Friday he also formed a new cabaret duo with Martine Sandifort. It can also be heard in cinemas starting next week in the new family movie grunt†
Other roles include Julia van der Vlught (Mrs. Stevens), Peter van Heringen (Grandpa Jacob), Debbie Korber (Grandma Jacob), Annemarie Jung (Mrs. Slack) and Rein Hoffmann (Grandpa Willem).
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory It tells the well-known story of poor young boy Charlie, who is given a golden ticket that gives him access to Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory. This mysterious chocolatier turns a coveted tour into a true test of who will succeed him.
The musical will premiere on Sunday 11 September at DeLaMar in Amsterdam and can be seen in major Dutch theaters until early March 2023.
