Choosing Megan Oprah’s dress for the year | Displays
The black Giorgio Armani dress that Meghan wore during a TV interview with Oprah Winfrey last year was named “Dress of the Year” by a leading fashion magazine. The dress will be on display at the Fashion Museum in Bath from Tuesday.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a black silk dress embellished with white lotuses to the CBS Special. In the episode, she and her husband Prince Harry are interviewed by talk show host Oprah Winfrey about their lives inside and outside the British royal family.
The dress can be seen in the exhibition A History of Fashion in 100 Objects. The museum is pleased to add the dress. “There were moments in history when the dress was all about the dress and Meghan’s interview with Oprah was one of those moments.”
