A bus has been hijacked and set on fire in Northern Ireland, possibly out of outrage over Brexit

Last night at 7:45 pm, the men boarded a bus in a Belfast suburb, ordering passengers to get off. Then the masked men set the bus on fire. The identity and motives of the men are not yet known
The incident is aligned with other recent incidents in Northern Ireland. A week ago, a group of masked men seized a bus, then set it on fire. Then there was talk of the turmoil caused by Britain’s exit from the European Union. During the UK’s exit from the European Union, the “soft border” between Northern Ireland and Ireland will be preserved, but the import of goods from the EU into the Irish Sea complicates this situation.
Northern Ireland Minister for Infrastructure, Nicola Mallon, said in a statement: “It is disgraceful and disgusting that our public transport system is once again the target of an attack, this time by masked men who ordered drivers and passengers off the bus, then those settled. Stop it. This is the fourth attack this year. The criminals behind these cowardly and reckless attacks have done nothing but harm their communities and impede a vital public service.”
