Pictures of the alleged packaging of the 12th generation Intel core processors, or Alder Lake, appeared on the Internet. It looks like Intel is providing the Core i9-12900K encapsulation with the chip.
The packaging of the 12th generation Core i9, Core i7, and Core i5 is very similar to the previous generation, judging by the offerings. Who publishes Videocardz. The site does not yet have a display of Alder Lake’s Core i3 packaging.
However, the packaging of the Core i9-12900K with the unlocked multiplier, the most powerful processor in the Alder Lake version, differs from its predecessor. It can be seen that it contains a small chip that users may want to put on their desk.
It’s not entirely unexpected that there is no picture of the Core i3 packaging yet. Rumor has it that only three Alder Lake processors will appear initially: Core i5s, i7s, and i9s in the K and KF variants. The latter does not have an integrated GPU.
