Remember when Roger Federer was not only the undisputed #1 player in tennis but virtually unbeatable?
The years may be catching up with the Swiss star, but he’s still got a few magic moments left in his bag of tricks.
In the 2nd round of the US Open, Federer disposed of hard-hitting Aussie phenom Sam Groth 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.
Groth is an intriguing player, who actually owns the all-time record for fastest serve in tournament play (263 km/h at an ATP Challenger in Busan in 2012), but sometimes finesse trumps power.
Watch Federer dazzle the crowd with an incredible half volley.
Federer will try to win his first US Open title since rattling off five straight in 2004-2008.
