Yo-yo champ’s incredible routine

This unbelievable routine by 18-year-old Gentry Stein secured the champion title at the 2014 World Yo-Yo Contest, producing extraordinary skill, poise and sleight of hand to blow the competition out of the water.

Gone are the days when ‘walking the dog’ would impress the girls in the schoolyard – Stein’s dazzling performance shows how far the game has come since the yo-yo’s 1960s and ’70s heyday.

Stein yielded a score of 88.2, ousting Takeshi Matsuura, who scored 86.7, for the world yo-yo crown.
