MAGIC GOAL FROM BLIND PARALYMPIAN

The Paralympics embody everything that is great about sport and the Olympic movement. Every event and every athlete is an absolute inspiration, and the 2016 Games in Rio is serving up a plethora of wonderful stories.

In a five-a-side football game – where four players have some level of visual impairment and where shades to completely block their vision during play – Iran’s Behzad Zadaliasghari produced a stunning solo goal against Morocco.

Zadaliasghari weaved through several defenders, before rocketing a host into the back of the net – past the non-visually impaired goalkeeper.

Iran won the clash 2-0.
