Brewers’ three-way collision

Communication is key in any team sport, particularly when it comes to catching a high ball. Collisions between two teammates are common in cricket and the football codes, but a trio of players from the Milwaukee Brewers MLB side took calamity to another level in their recent away clash with the St Louis Cardinals.

Gerardo Parra, Aramis Ramirez and Jean Segura all charged towards a pop-up foul hit by the Cardinals’ Matt Carpenter, and all three arrived at the ball’s destination at precisely the same time at pace.

Parra hit the deck, while Ramirez and Gegura ended up in the crowd. Needless to say, none of the bumbling Brewers came up with the catch.

The Cardinals went on to win 1-0.
