Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez provided Arsenal with more pre-season food for thought over the weekend, scoring a sensational solo goal in the EPL champions’ clash with Scottish giants Celtic at Parkhead.

Mahrez has linked to a move to the Gunners for some time, and his latest effort may have just pushed his asking price up a little higher – or at least prompted the heavyweights to part with more cash for the Algerian international, who has scored 24 goals in 86 appearances for the Foxes.

Leicester went on to defeat Celtic in a penalty shootout after the International Champions Cup showdown finished 1-all.
