Commentary Box Sports brings you a wrap of last week’s action involving Aussies and Kiwis playing over in Europe.

With All Whites stalwart Winston Reid’s West Ham side not playing last week, the only Australasian Premier League action saw Brad Smith and Adam Federici sit on the bench for Bournemouth in a 2-2 draw with Watford.

Down in the Championship, Bailey Wright played the entire match for Bristol City in a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, as did Sydney-born Massimo Luongo for QPR, who drew 1-1 with Fulham.

Meanwhile, it proved to be another week, another Chris Wood goal for Leeds United.

The Kiwi striker scored in the 56th minute to register his 20th goal of the season in a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest. But Wood didn’t take part in the FA Cup clash against Sutton United a few days later, as his Championship high-flyers went down 1-0 to the National League outfit.

Over in the Dutch Eredivisie, Aussie goalkeeper Brad Jones was a strong performer for Feyenoord Rotterdam in a 1-0 win over Willem II, while PEC Zwolle, who have All White Ryan Thomas on their books, went down 2-1 to Twente.
