Fresh from scoring the extra-time winner in Australia’s dramatic Asian Cup triumph, James Troisi is back amongst the goals at club level.
The Socceroos midfielder salvaged a point for his side Zulte Waregem against Standard Liege on Sunday by lashing home a superb strike from outside the penalty area.
Amazingly, that’s arguably not even Troisi’s finest goal of the Belgian Pro League season.
The 26-year-old bamboozled countryman and Socceroos keeper Mat Ryan with a miraculous long-distance lob back in late-2014.
Troisi’s team currently sit 10th of 16, while Ryan’s Club Brugge lead the league.
