France defeated Cameroon 3-2 in an international friendly, and it was the mercurial Paul Pogba that provided the searing highlight reel moment.

The Juventus playmaker bamboozled a Cameroon defender near the right-hand touchline, then put in an extraordinary cross for Olivier Giroud to finish with a superb volley.

It’s this sort of brilliance that makes hosts France a very real threat at the upcoming Euro Championships, installed as the bookies’ favourites ahead of Germany, Spain, England and Belgium.

Les Bleus kick off the tournament on Friday, June 10 against Romania at Stade de France in Paris, while they also take on Albania and Switzerland in a competitive pool.
