Huge hit sets up magic try

Big hits or brilliant tries. We can’t decide which we like better – but when one results in the other, it’s pretty much rugby utopia.

In this English club match between Old Wesley RFC and Barnhall, Wesley hooker Darren Horan, marauding out wide, pulled off a monster hit on a hapless Barnhall back.

The resulting turnover gave winger Eoin Stynes room to move on the other flank, and he embarked on a mesmerising 80-metre run to the try-line. Sit back and enjoy the brutality and the brilliance.
