As the Hurricanes stand on the verge of history – their first-ever Super Rugby title – it’s worth thinking back to the franchise’s greatest-ever players, the legends that have made the Wellington outfit one of the competition’s most perennially entertaining teams, even if championship success has eluded them.

Ma’a Nonu, Tana Umaga, Conrad Smith, Jonah Lomu, Norm Hewitt, Piri Weepu, ‘Bull’ Allen, Alama Ieremia, Jason O’Halloran, Rodney So’oialo, and the late Jerry Collins all produced countless highlights.

But one player arguably provided more sizzling entertainment than any other Hurricane: 58-Test All Black Christian Cullen.

Relive the brilliant fullback/centre’s finest tries in the black and gold with this insane supercut.
