Best tries of the 2014 NRC

The inaugural National Rugby Championship, thanks to its innovative scoring changes, promoted plenty of running rugby and resulted in a plethora of outstanding tries.

Here’s the best five-pointers from the 2014 NRC competition, featuring North Harbour Rays winger David Feltscheer, NSW Country Eagles inside-centre Ed Stubbs, Melbourne Rising winger Telusa Veainu, Sydney Stars centre Michael Hodge, and premiers Brisbane City’s superstar halfback Will Genia.

Incredibly, Brisbane City won the NRC without kicked a single penalty goal, which were only worth two points – that’s the kind of rugby we like to see!
