Bath's bone-crunching defence

Although his switch to rugby union hasn’t been the runaway success many hoped it would be, at the very least Sam Burgess’ penchant for bone-crunching defence appears to be rubbing off on some of his Bath teammates.

In one passage during a match against Northampton, Bath backrower Alafoti Faosiliva and English Test back Kyle Eastmond reeled off consecutive big hits on Saints’ George Pisi and Samu Manoa respectively.

Who said rugby union players can’t tackle?
