Welcoming you to the 2015 NRL season

The 2015 NRL premiership is just over a week away, and New Zealand’s Sky Sports has released a trailer for the season ahead that will get every rugby league fan fired up.

It begins with South Sydney’s emotional Grand Final triumph last year and follows on with some the miracle finishes from 2014: Young Tonumaipea after the siren against the Dragons; Jamie Soward’s qualifying final field goal; Paul Vaughan’s match-winner against the Storm; Will Zillman’s one-pointer to sink Canterbury; Cronulla’s unprecedented comeback; Kurt Gidley’s conversion on fulltime.

Then what we’ve got to look forward to in 2015 – the Anzac Day extravaganza, the Australia-New Zealand Test on May 1, the Pacific Islands Tests the following day, another epic instalment of State of Origin, and the big prize, the premiership trophy.
