Arguably the most gifted athlete Rugby League has ever known, Greg Inglis’ tryscoring strike-rate is just one of myriad strings on his enormous bow.
The equal-top try-scorer in State of Origin history with 15 in 24 matches for Queensland, Inglis has scored 27 tries in just 32 Tests – eight short of Darren Lockyer’s all-time record – and crossed 78 times in 117 games for Melbourne.
On Sunday, the freakish fullback scored his 50th try in his 92nd game in South Sydney colours, taking his overall NRL record to 128 tries in 209 appearances. Inglis became just the 12th player in the Rabbitohs’ 107-year history to reach a half-century of touchdowns.
Too Good Tuesday brings you this brilliant compilation of all 50 of Inglis’ tries for Souths, which illustrates that not only does he cross the stripe with incredible regularity, but he is also responsible for some of the finest four-pointers you could ever hope to see; the majority are tries only ‘GI’ could score.
