The 2015 NRL premiership featured a stack of unforgettable individual tries, whether they were determined efforts close to the line, long-range stunners featuring blinding speed and footwork, or a kick-and-regather special to get the four points.
The team at LBS TRIBUTES has put together this cracking compilation of the best solo tries from season 2015.
There was Penrith backrower Bryce Cartwright’s spectacular chip-and-chase effort against Canterbury, a hot-stepping try as Benji Marshall turned back the clock, brilliant finals four-pointers by Ben Hunt and Eto Nabuli, and blistering pace from James Roberts.
Breakout stars such as Jack Bird and Blake Austin make multiple appearances, while Michael Morgan, James Tedesco, Blake Ferguson, Greg Inglis, Anthony Milford and Shaun Johnson all unsurprisingly feature in the montage after typically crowd-pleasing campaigns.
And of course, there’s Jared Waerea-Hargreaves’ barnstorming 20-metre match-winner against Parramatta.
There was one glaring omission, however, and it was Warriors genius Johnson producing the goods yet again. His freakish try against Melbourne gets Commentary Box Sports’ vote as the best solo touchdown of 2015.
