Stagg signs for Broncos

The Brisbane Broncos have signed 29-year old forward David Stagg on a 2-year deal.

Stagg spent his first 6 season with the Broncos before a 4-year stint with the NRL finalists Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

With the departure of Ben Te’o to South Sydney, there’s a back row spot up for grabs.

In the Broncos history, now is the longest period that they haven’t won a premiership. So Brisbane fans should be happy with the return of the veteran who played a huge part of their last premiership in 2006.

Stagg needs 8 more games to reach 100 games for the Brisbane Broncos, and 14 more games to join the NRL 200-game club.
