Benji Marshall is enjoying yet another career revival courtesy of his mid-season purple patch as a Brisbane Broncos halves fill-in, starring with two try-assists in the 30-20 win over Canberra – including a breathtaking pass to send Alex Glenn over.

Monday Memories celebrates arguably the mercurial Kiwi’s greatest assist, an unforgettable behind-the-back pass for Wests Tigers in 2009.

During a monumental late-season showdown with Parramatta, Marshall pitted his unique talents against Eels talisman Jarryd Hayne. While Hayne led the Eels to a pulsating win with another virtuoso display, Marshall grabbed a big chunk of the highlights reel with an unorthodox – but perfectly executed – pass around his back to send Aysford in untouched.
