The mesmerising footwork of Rugby League’s young stars continue to astound more than a decade after the likes of Benji Marshall and Karmichael Hunt started a hot-stepping revolution – and Kiwi Test stars Shaun Johnson and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck lead the way in the NRL when it comes to twinkle-toed brilliance.
Warriors halfback Johnson made his first grade debut in 2011, while Roosters winger/fullback Tuivasa-Sheck broke into the NRL a season later. Both prodigious talents have produced highlight reels bursting at the seams in their short time in the NRL spotlight, regularly producing mind-blowing moments and scoring and setting up seemingly impossible tries.
The team at AP7 Montages has put together a sensational compilation of Johnson and ‘RTS’ carving up opposition defences. Watching their exploits interspersed and in quick succession, it is quite remarkable to realise what this pair is capable of.
Both players are not without their weaknesses, but they are undoubtedly two of the most unique players ever to lace on a boot.
Hit play and enjoy – and if you can peel your eyes away before it finishes, you can’t be a true Rugby League fan:
