Hayne's brilliant tap-on

Jarryd Hayne couldn’t quite inspire his Parramatta side to a victory over Canterbury and the Eels’ finals hopes are now on life support, but the superstar fullback still managed to add to his extraordinary 2014 highlights reel in the 18-16 loss.

Several players – most notably Warriors No.1 Sam Tomkins – have become adept at the backline tap-on, but Hayne’s deft touch to set up Semi Radradra’s first-half try was undoubtedly the slickest we’ve seen this season.

Hayne also bagged the Eels’ first try, leaping to take a bomb near the Bulldogs’ line, while Radradra completed a double to join his skipper at the top of the NRL’s tryscoring table with 18.
