Carlin Anderson's freakish Queensland Cup try

Brisbane Broncos-contracted speedster Carlin Anderson scored a phenomenal try featuring four kicks in Ipswich Jets’ Queensland Cup finals defeat of Northern Pride.

A former Queensland soccer rep, Anderson put those skills on full display when he took a pass on halfway and grubbered through the defensive line, before toeing the ball ahead three more times on his way to a sensational try.

The Broncos beat a hosts of NRL rivals to snare 19-year-old Anderson’s signature, and the fullback/winger shapes as a genuine contender for the heavyweight club’s 2016 backline.

Also a handy goalkicker, Anderson racked up 26 points in the Jets’ 54-26 win from two tries and nine goals.
