BENNETT DUMPS HUNT FOR KODI

Via Brisbane Broncos Media

Wayne Bennett has pulled a huge selection shock for tomorrow night’s match against the Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium.

With Anthony Milford returning from a match out because of a head knock in the State of Origin opener, Bennett has this morning left Ben Hunt out of the halves for the game.

Kodi Nikorima, who missed last week with a shoulder problem but who filled in admirably while Hunt was injured, will play at halfback.

Benji Marshall, who was one of the Broncos’ best the past two weeks, has been preferred on the bench.

Hunt, who has signed a multi-year deal with the Dragons from next season, has been back two games from a serious hamstring injury.

However he looks set to play Intrust Super Cup this weekend.
