Roy Krishna cracker floors Jets

It’s taken him some time to warm to the A-League, but Wellington Phoenix’s Roy Krishna has exploded into life in 2014/15.

The talented Fijian continued his hot form with a genuine howitzer to see off Newcastle Jets on the weekend, capping a fine Phoenix comeback from outside the area.

Originally an injury replacement for club hero Paul Ifill, Krishna has forced his way into Ernie Merrick’s starting side thanks to a string of eye-catching cameos off the bench.

Watching over the sweet strike from the commentary box just had to be Ned Zelic, the nation’s foremost advocate of imagination and fantasy.

Pick that one out.
