Tyson Goldsack gets pushed into goalpost

Collingwood’s Tyson Goldsack endured a nasty collision with a goalpost during the fourth quarter of the Magpies’ clash with Port Adelaide, after being pushed by Power’s Chad Wingard.

It took the wind out of him, but the pain of Goldsack’s full-body clash with the post would have been eased by the ’Pies’ crucial 11.10 (76) to 10.10 (70) defeat of former AFL premiership front-runners Port.

The victory saw Collingwood cling to eighth spot; the Magpies are in a four-way logjam on 40 points, behind North Melbourne and Essendon on percentages but ahead of Gold Coast. Meanwhile, Port is freefalling down the table, now in fifth spot after their fourth loss in five games.
